On August 1st the hunchback whale season started on the beaches at the north of Peru, which will officially finish by October.

It has been estimated that this year around a 1000 whales will arrive to the Peruvian coast, and so the jumps and flips of these impressive cetacean will be able to be seen, as they leave polar waters and come to warmer regions in order to reproduce.

In many countries around the works, whale watching is a tourism industry by itself, that draws thousands of people interested in the coexistence with this animal species.

These whales offer a unique experience because they not only jump, they also frequently hit the water with their heads, tails and fins.

This is an excellent opportunity for many tourists to share moments with this fabulous animals.
