As we all know, starting April 1st you can enjoy again Machu Picchu, after nature caused the temporary closing of this wonder for two months. Now that again tourists can visit the Machu Picchu citadel and take hikes through the well known Inca Trail that leads to the citadel, we encounter that due to the great demand of permits there’s no more available. This is because the National Institute of Culture (INC for its initials in Spanish) only allows entry to 500 people daily.

The stretch of trail that is currently available is the four day hike that starts at the Piscacucho bride located at the 82 km, close to where the trains depart towards the Machu Picchu citadel.

Did you know that the purchase of permit are made through the internet by authorized travel agencies and that according to our sources there are no more spots left until November?

If you with to hike through this ancient Inca trails to visit Machu Picchu, we recommend that you get in touch with your travel specialist and book your permits right away, we can assure you that it’ll be worth it.
